TRAINING FORMAT
•Students can bring project they’re working for peer review & instructor input
•New construction and renovation project used as case studies
•Workshops encourages interdisciplinary discussions between architectural, engineering, facility management and security professions.
•Facilitators give the latest information about what is happening within the security engineering industry and “lessons learned” by citing projects they have worked on.
CERTIFICATION FORMAT
•Upon certification personnel are capable of applying the philosophies and principles they have learned when developing plans for the renovation of existing facilities or when designing new ones
•Can incorporate sound and robust security principles in creating a “culture of security” in their business model.
•Physical Security Engineer and Antiterrorism Design Specialist designees enjoy recognition for a certain level of subject matter expertise.

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM/ON-LINE TRAINING/MRNTORING
COURSES - Full length virtual courses available in the #SmartLearning Format. Courses vary in length depending on the complexity of the subject matter. Students consult directly with the course instructor via Zoom , email o phone conversation. The courses are usually self-study with the "mentor" available at the request of the student. Some courses are held periodically with the instructor presenting the course material in a virtual classroom. Virtual classroom schedule is posted under the Calendar tab below. Varying fees.
SEMINARS - Shorter subject material presented in the same format as the course described above. Some are FREE while others have a nominal fee.
FLASH TRAINING - Single subject matter presented in a quick-to-digest format (usually less than an hour). No FEE.

• Course and Seminar "classes" are eligible for award of the Physical Security Engineering (PSR) or Antiterrorism Design Specialist (ADS), as applicable.
